Finished a nice dinner, want an afternoon treat, or it’s 3:00 AM, and you’ve got a case of the munchies this will not disappoint.

This recipe is fire. It was suggested to Paula Deen by a woman in Jacksonville, Florida. And this creamy, decadent treat is simple to follow and will satisfy your sweet tooth. And the best part? It’s entirely from scratch with no cooking.

Ingredients

  • cold milk
  • sweetened fresh whipped cream

  • sweetened condensed milk

Ingredient measurement

  • 1 (3.4-ounce) box of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (12-oz) container of sweetened fresh whipped cream
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 (14-ounce) can of condensed milk
  • 2 (7.25-ounce) bags of Chessmen cookies
  • 8 sliced ripe bananas

Instructions

  1. Prepare instant vanilla pudding according to package directions.
  2. Add 2 cups of cold milk and mix.
  3. Whip 1 container of fresh cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Cut 8 ounces of cream cheese and place into the bowl of your electric mixer along with the sweetened 1 can condensed milk, vanilla pudding-milk mix, and fresh cream.
  5. Beat for about 2 minutes on high speed until very fluffy and thick.
  6. Spread 1 package of cookies over the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, and then layer with banana slices.
  7. Cover the bananas with the mixture – about ¾ of the way up, then top with the remaining bag of cookies. 
  8. Keep in the fridge for at least an hour and up to 2 days before serving.
