Elise Christie

Elise Christie, born August 13, 1990 in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland, is a retired British short track speed skater, model, media personality and OnlyFans creator. She is the most decorated short track skater Britain has produced — a three-time Olympian, ten-time European gold medallist and triple world champion — who retired in 2021 and later joined OnlyFans, a decision she has said rescued her from post-retirement financial hardship. Few Olympic athletes have spoken as directly about what happens to their income after the funding stops.

Christie competed at three Olympic Games: Vancouver in 2010, Sochi in 2014 and PyeongChang in 2018. She won ten European gold medals and took overall European titles in 2015 and 2016. Her peak came at the 2017 World Championships in Rotterdam, where she won the 1000m, the 1500m and the overall title, becoming the first British woman and the first European woman to win the overall world championship.
