Jaime Pressly, born Jaime Elizabeth Pressly on July 30, 1977 in Kinston, North Carolina, is an American actress, model and producer best known as Joy Turner on NBC’s My Name Is Earl, a role that won her a Primetime Emmy Award. She is the daughter of dance instructor Brenda Sue, nee Smith, and car salesman James Liston Pressly, who died in 2026, and has two siblings, James Jr. and Jessica. In May 2026 she became one of a series of established actresses to launch an OnlyFans account.

Pressly trained as a gymnast in childhood, and the discipline led directly into modelling work. She landed her first magazine cover, for Teen, at 14 and became a spokesmodel for the International Cover Model Search. She dropped out of school at 15, was legally emancipated from her parents, and took a modelling contract in Japan. Her family relocated to Costa Mesa, California in 1992.
